Queen of Pentacles|
Guardian of Earth
The Queen of Pentacles is a patient and intractable
woman. As an elemental creature of earth, she has no hurried sense of time
or pressure to conform. She has planted herself firmly in a granite throne,
and that’s where she’ll bloom.
She’s comfortable, both in her body and in her element
of earth and physical existence. She’s short and stocky, like the other
gnomes. Her compact, muscular form helps preserve her body heat in the
wintery northland of the pentacles.
She has also wrapped herself in primitive luxury, from
head to toe. Her antler headpiece is a creature comfort; it symbolizes her
connection to wildlife. She wears a sheepskin fur around her shoulders, a
red suede gown, and deerskin boots with red suede ties.
She’s thoughtful and contemplative. Being patient and
immovable gives her time to think. Her chin rests on one hand, and she’s
considering something, deeply.
The Queen of Pentacles is the guardian of earth, and
she understands the importance of safeguarding and protecting the physical
world for future generations. Even so, she’s not a believer in unproven
theories or rash environmentalism. She knows that earth has resources most
people can’t imagine, and that the planet will outlive its population.
